Dental Staff

Dr. John Reed received exceptional training and 12 years academic and hospital surgery experience from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, University of Illinois College of Dental Medicine, and the University of Nebraska. He competed nationally and then received advanced training in oral maxillofacial surgery from Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the U.S. Public Health Service while in school.
 

A Peoria native, Dr. Reed was raised in a Caterpillar family that experienced numerous domestic transfers. He is an Eagle Scout, along with his father, brothers, cousins, and son. He enjoys fitness training, outdoor sports, and traveling with his family. As Peoria’s most experienced oral surgeon for more than 25 years, Dr. Reed has the fewest complications and most satisfied patient outcomes.
